Birthday Stars Project

Inspiration for the Princess Priye character and books all started with real-life, non-profit children's parties that our creator - Jess Taylor - started hosting in 2018, in Manchester, U.K.   

After winning 1st Place and £3000 funding in June 2017, Jess set up Birthday Stars Project to support vulnerable families (disadvantaged by homelessness) to celebrate their children's birthdays with a free party, donated party food, birthday cake donations and party bags. 

Jess created Princess Priye after her daughter - Olivia Priye - then aged 6, asked "Can I write your checklist?"   (As mentioned in our 'About Us' section.)

Jess has pledged to donate 15% of net profits from book sales to Birthday Stars Project.
